Apple Pie Bars

If you are a fan of apple pie, you will love these easy to make Apple Pie Bars. You can use homemade apple pie filling or even store bought. Perfect fall dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cup Flour
  • 20 oz Apple Pie Filling
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/14 tsp Nutmeg

Glaze

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  • Grease a 13"x 9" baking pan.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cream butter, salt and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in vanilla.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, while beating.
  • Gradually add flour.
  • Spread 3/4 of batter into prepared pan.
  • Add cinnamon and nutmeg to pie filling. Mix to combine.
  • Spread filling on top of batter.
  • Drop spoonfuls of remaining batter over filling.
  • Bake 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool completely.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk to achieve desired consistency.
  • Drizzle over top.
