Ingredients

  • 3 lb Red Potatoes chopped
  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Basil

Instructions

  • Grease the inside of the slow cooker.
  • Place potatoes, butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup water into the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
  • Use a masher to mash to near desired consistency.
  • Now add sour cream, Parmesan, milk, thyme, oregano, basil and onion powder.
  • Use an electric mixer to beat until potatoes are fluffy.
  • If potatoes are too thick, add more milk as needed.

Notes

Be careful not to overmix your potatoes- it will lead to a really unpleasant, paste-like texture.
Add salt and pepper when finished to taste.
