Keyword: Hot Honey Sauce
Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Honey
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  • Put honey in a microwave-safe measuring cup.
  • Stir in cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes until blended
  • Heat on 50% power for 2 minutes.
  • Stir until blended and transfer to serving container.
  • Allow to sit for at least 1 hour to allow pepper flakes to infuse into the honey.

Notes

Do not over cook the honey and spices. Heat until just warm.
It's best to allow the spicy honey mixture to cool and thicken before enjoying. The longer the honey is stored, the better it becomes (spiciness).
