Apple Syrup

Apple Syrup is a tasty homemade syrup that's perfect for the fall season. It goes great on pancakes, waffles, french toast, and much more! You can even sub in cider to make this into a delicious Apple Cider Syrup as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cup Apple Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup Butter

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, whick together brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cornstarch.
  • Add lemon juice and apple juice gradually.
  • Cook over medium heat, whisking frequently, until thickened (about 7-10 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter.
  • Serve warm.
