Taco Pizza Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust
  • 3/4 packet Taco Seasoning Mix 1 oz packet
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 4 oz shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 oz shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
  • Additional toppings: tomato sour cream, and green onion

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Spray a baking sheet with non stick spray.
  • Brown ground beef and drain excess grease.
  • Add taco seasoning and water. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Transfer taco meat to food processor and pulse for up to 1 minute to reduce coarseness.
  • Unroll pizza dough and square up and stretch into a rectangle.
  • Spread the taco meat evenly on top of the pizza dough.
  • Sprinkle each of the cheeses evenly over the meat.
  • Roll up tightly, starting with the long edge of the pizza
  • Cut the foll into 1' slices using dental floss or a knife.
  • Place rolls on prepared sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Garnish with additional topings and serve.
