If you are one of those silly people like me who loves cookie dough, these Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Easter Eggs will be a super idea to make.  This recipe starts with a simple to make edible chocolate chip cookie dough shaped in to an egg shape and then dipped in chocolate. My kiddos love our Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Recipe. In fact they make some for an after school snack to share quite often. Since our edible cookie dough is so popular and our Reese’s Easter Eggs are so popular at Easter, I decided we needed some Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Easter Eggs.

Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Easter Eggs

These homemade Easter Eggs are super simple to make with just a few ingredients. My kiddos would have probably made them for themselves if I would have given them the idea, ha ha. Edible chocolate chip cookie dough dipped in chocolate, I knew these Easter Eggs would be a hit.

I finished up the first batch before Quentin spotted me in the kitchen. When one of the kiddos finds me in the kitchen, they usually present themselves with “Whatcha Making Mom?”. I guess these Easter eggs were not meant to be a surprise treat. It wasn’t long before they all arrived waiting for me to finish up so they could have one or two. I made them hold off so I could snap some pics. As soon as I finished up, the entire batch was gone. Luckily I did manage to hide myself one in the back of the fridge, lol.

Making homemade Easter candy at home has become a tradition for us. We have made quite a few candy recipes this year already. I plan to make more of our Homemade Coconut Eggs this week to gift to our neighbors this year. They always appreciate sweet treats.
