You are going to LOVE this Dirty Coke Recipe! Have you ever heard of a Dirty Coke? I have seen quite a bit of buzz around the net with Dirty Diet Coke and Dirty Dr. Peppers. I figured it was time that I give one of these “dirty” drinks a try. So simple but so tasty. How have I enjoyed Coke as much as I have before giving this Dirty Coke Recipe a try? Yum! Yum! Coke, lime and coconut.  I never would have guessed that these three ingredients would blend so well together.

Dirty Coke Recipe

During the summer months I CRAVE refreshing drinks. If you read my blog regularly you have probably noticed. This Dirty Coke was totally refreshing. As I sipped on my Dirty Coke I closed my eyes and pictured myself on a beach (I really need a vacation, ha ha). This drink really blasted me with refreshment.

Dirty Coke Recipe 1
The ingredients for this Dirty Coke Recipe are quite simple. Coca-Cola (you could use diet soda too), half and half or other creamer, sugar and coconut. I found my imitation coconut at Remke  but you could also order in some Torani Coconut Syrup from Amazon too!

DIRECTIONS
If you can’t find Coconut Syrup you can make your own.
Add 1 cup water and 1 cup Sugar to a pan and bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Allow to boil for 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add coconut flavor.
Allow to cool.
cut lime into quarter lime wedges.
In a large glass (approx 24 oz) fill half way with ice.
Add coconut syrup and squeeze 2 lime wedges over ice.
Toss squeezed limes into glass.
Add Coke.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of half & half  or cream and serve. Note that lime juice will tend to try and curdle the cream.
