Instant Pot (No Soak)Baked Beans

If you are needing a quick, easy, and delicious side dish, these Instant Pot Baked Beans are going to be perfect. Since this is a no soak recipe, you can have them ready in no time at all. Great for summer BBQ's, picnics, and potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb dried Navy Beans
  • 6 cup Water
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 10 slices Bacon diced
  • 3/4 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt divided
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 3/4 cup Ketchup

Instructions

  • Sort beans to remove debris and rinse and drain.
  • Place beans, 6 cups of water and 1 teaspoon salt in Instant Pot and cook on Bean setting for 60 minutes.
  • Allow to naturally release pressure.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, remaining salt, garlic powder, chili powder, vinegar and ketchup.
  • Whisk until blended and set aside.
  • Put Instant Pot on Saute (medium) add bacon.
  • Cook until rendered then add onion and cook until onion is transparent and bacon is cooked.
  • Drain excess grease if desired.
  • Add beans and sauce to Instant Pot and stir to combine.
  • Set Instant Pot on slow cooker setting and cook for 30 minutes.
