Easy Strawberry Crisp

This Easy Strawberry Crisp makes for a simple and comforting strawberry dessert. Serve it with or without a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfect combination of warm strawberries and crunchy oat topping. Super delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Fresh Strawberries hulled and quartered
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3/4 cup uncooked Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Butter cold

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Place strawberries in a large bowl.
  • Sprinkle flour and sugar over strawberries and toss to coat.
  • Layer strawberries into baking dish (I used 13" oval).
  • Mix together flour, brown sugar, oats and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Add in vanilla and cut in butter with a pastry blender or fork.
  • Work until mixture forms large crumbs.
  • Sprinkle over strawberries.
  • Bake 30-35 minutes or until topping is browned.
  • Garnish with ice cream if desired.
