The kiddos and hubby were eating them up so quickly. I was worried I was not going to be able to get pictures. Yes… they were going that quickly.
Spring Sprinkles Gooey Bars Recipe
These Spring Sprinkles Gooey Bars are perfect for the spring and Easter Season. I was looking for a fun spring look to them this time around. Obviously you can make this recipe and in whatever color sprinkles you would like. Gooey Bars ave a great cake/cookie texture and are filled with a yummy and gooey center.
Not many ingredients are needed for this Gooey Bar Recipe. Perfect, the less ingredients the better, lol. Grab yourself a cake mix, egg, butter, white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. So simple and ready in no time at all. I really like to have quick and easy treats to make that do not require much work or make my kitchen a complete mess.
1 box Yellow Cake Mix
1/2 cup softened Butter
2/3 cup Easter Sprinkles
1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup White Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350.
Line a 9×9” pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray.
Stir cake mix, butter, and egg until a thick dough forms.
Add 1/3 cup sprinkles and stir until well distributed.
Press 1/2 of this mixture into the bottom of the pan.
Top with white chocolate chips and the other 1/3 cup sprinkles.
Pour condensed milk over the top.
Break remaining dough into small pieces and place evenly over the top of the bars. Press and flatten to form a complete layer.
Bake 30 minutes or until top begins to brown.
Cool completely before slicing.
Gooey Bars are great for snacks. Definitely cure a sweet tooth. Be ready to enjoy a nice sugary rush. I have a new found love for Gooey Bars. I completely understand all the craze over Gooey Bars now.
