If you are needing a quick and easy treat while entertaining this holiday season consider making these Rolo Pretzel Bites. My hubby could not keep his paws off these yummy little snacks. I really did not mind as they are so simple to toss another batch in the oven. I made a full batch yesterday afternoon and they are gone today. I am guessing he REALLY liked them, ha ha. I had picked up some Rolo Candies on sale with a coupon and really wanted to accomplish a holiday type snack with them. My hubby always has nuts in the house during the holidays luckily. The nut, chocolate and salty pretzel taste so perfect together.
During the holiday season I think all of us like to have time to make something homemade. Sometimes time is just not available to be in the kitchen. If you are looking to make something quick and easy grab some pretzels, Rolos Candies and some pecan halves and you will have a treat to offer that did not take a day in the kitchen. Just a few minutes of your tie and you have a homemade treat.
INGREDIENTS: (Yields 12 Treats)
12 Square or Round Pretzels
12 Rolo Candies (unwrapped)
12 Pecan Halves
Preheat oven to 350.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Place pretzels on sheet.
Top each pretzel with a Rolo.
Bake 4 minutes or until Rolo begins to soften.
Remove from oven and top each with a pecan half.
Allow to cool.
