This Quick & Easy Meals Recipe Chef’s Salad is one of my favorites any time of year. I made this one up before we grabbed all of the cheap Oscar Mayer lunchmeat. Needless to say we have had this a few times since with all of this cheap lunchmeat we are scoring. Having overflowing meat in my hubby’s salad is a must as he is not much of a green salad eater. A couple of the kids and myself could live on a green vegetable salad almost every night of the week.
I personally think a chef’s salad is so quick and easy . We grab most of our produce at Aldi and I scored a markdown on some wonderful mushrooms. I have been purchasing my boiled eggs all pre-boiled and ready to go as they are around $2.50 a dozen at Kroger. I like the quick convenience that they offer. Specifically they are great for the Quick & Easy Potato Salad Recipe I made last week too!

When throwing a Chef’s Salad together you can be creative and add in all the items that you personally like. I set out everything on the counter and let the kids have at it. They like making everything the way “they like it”. Grab all the veggies you can find and then top with some ham and turkey or the meat of your choosing and you have a nice meal. Last week I finally picked up some of the Aldi Romaine as I am normally a iceberg lover with a hint of Romaine. This time I had a full on Romaine salad and loved it the flavor and price!
Also, like most families everyone likes different dressings our family has finally agreed that Aldi Specially Selected House Vinaigrette is “Off the Charts”. If you have yet to give the Aldi Specially Selected Vinaigrette a try I highly recommend trying them out.
