Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate
My daughter officially holds the title of Biggest Pumpkin Lover in our house. She is always the most excited one of the bunch for pumpkin season to start. She loves our No Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake and our Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte the best. This past week was a rough one for her with college classes being a bit overwhelming for her. When she is having a bad day, we quite often will take a trip to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. We will just chit chat and allow her to de-stress.
Since I had some leftover pumpkin in my fridge that was screaming to be used, I decided to save some of our $$’s and make the two of us our own fall beverages right at home. The cooler weather always has me craving hot chocolate. So I decided to make this easy Homemade Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate.
I have yet to make a big batch of our Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix. This post reminded me that I need to do so, lol.
To make your own Homemade Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate, you will just need some white chocolate, pumpkin, vanilla, milk, and some Pumpkin Spice. You can use store bought pumpkin spice or whip up a batch of Homemade Pumpkin Spice to have on hand for the fall.
3 cup Milk
1 cup Pumpkin Puree
1 tsp store bought Pumpkin Pie Spice or Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 pinch Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup White Chocolate Chips
In a medium pan, combine milk, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, salt and vanilla.
Heat over medium heat whisking until the mixture begins to simmer.
Add in white chocolate chips and stir until it is melted and blended.
Pour into cups and garnish with whipped topping and dust
with pumpkin pie spice.
