If you are looking for a Back to School Lunch Idea consider making this Pizza Bento Lunchbox. In the next few weeks I have a plan of attack for Back to School Lunches. I am looking forward to coming up with all kinds of fun Lunchbox Ideas to share with you throughout the Back to School Season. Pizza Lunchables are my sons favorite lunch. I am not sure if it is the novelty of making his own mini pizzas or if it’s just the idea of taking lunchables in his lunchbox. A few times I have made up the Pizza Bagel Bites and wrapped them in Aluminum Foil for him to enjoy a hot mini pizza. For this Pizza Lunchbox Bento Recipe I used store bought Pillsbury Premade Pizza Dough. I can make up a bunch of mini pizzas and then toss them in the freezer for when needed each week.

This year I decided to make an investment. My kiddos all take their lunches to school. I have been eyeballing the pricey PlanetBox Lunchbox. I decide it was time to purchase one and give it a try. So far I am loving it. We used it for some park snacks this past weekend. Quite impressive and the quality ROCKS! We own SO MANY Lunchboxes (kind of an obsession for me, ha ha) and this one is cream of crop. If you are looking to make an investment and in AWESOME Lunchbox be sure to hop on over to Amazon and take a look at the PlanetBox Lunchbox –. I purchased mine at Pottery Barn Kids so, you can take a look there too!
As you can see this Pizza Bento is so simple. Just grab your Pizza Dough, Jar Pizza Sauce or make your pizza Sauce from scratch. I have a recipe for Homemade Pizza Sauce here if you would like to use homemade. Grab some mini pepperoni (or cut larger peperoni into fourths), mozzarella cheese. Then toss in a drink and fruit.
1 oz Mini Pepperoni
1 package Pillsbury Pizza Crust Dough
1/4 cup Shredded Pizza Cheese
1/8 cup Pizza Sauce
Fruit of your Choice (I used Grapes)
1 Lowfat Chocolate Milk Carton
Preheat Oven to 400.
Spray cookie sheet with non stick spray
Spread out pizza dough and using a 3″ cookie cutter, biscuit cutter or drinking glass cut into rounds.
You can optionally sprinkle rounds with garlic powder, oregano and basil.
Place rounds on prepared sheet and bake for 8 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Place each ingredient into cups and place in Bento Box.
