This Oreo Peppermint Bark is filled with awesome peppermint flavors. Chocolate, Peppermint and Oreo Cookie. What could possibly be better? Last Christmas season I shared a wonderful Peppermint Bark Recipe with you that was great for enjoying during the holidays or also perfect for gifting! Peppermint bark was a hit for quite a few of our guests last year. I had planned to make another batch for gifting this year. I just had not planned to make it this early in the season.
Oreo Peppermint Bark Recipe
I was chatting with my neighbor last week and she commented how wonderful it would be to find a package of bark on our doorway like she did last year. Ha ha she was hinting that she would surely enjoy another batch this year. I quickly headed out to the grocery and snagged some of the items that I did not have on hand to make up a batch for her and her hubby to enjoy. Instead of our basic peppermint bark I decided to kick the recipe up a notch and add in some Christmas Oreos that were on my counter top. They seemed like they would make a great addition to our traditional bark. I was right! This Peppermint Bark Recipe was perfect with the Oreo Cookies added in.

Needless to say my neighbor and her husband were very happy that I decided to make them a batch of Peppermint Bark this year. They even commented about liking the addition of the Oreo Cookies. I packaged up this batch in a cellophane bag and tied on a ribbon and it made for a nice gift!
