Free and Cheap Kids Activities
Looking to entertain the kids this week with some FREE or Cheap entertainment? If so, I have gathered up a roundup of some great activities the kids may enjoy. You may enjoy them as well as they are all FREE or Cheap. Saving on entertainment for my kids is one of the first things we have tackled with our budget as we have always spent a small fortune in the past.

Lowe’s Build & Grow Workshop
– This weekend Saturday, May 11th at 10 AM, you can take the kiddos to the Lowes Build & Grow Clinic at your local Lowes stores. You will need to head on over and register for the build. Kids get to build a wooden project and get FREE apron, patch, goggles and more. This months project your child will be able to make a sweetheart frame. What a great idea for Mother’s Day.

michaelsheartnecklaceMichael’s Crafts Kids Club– This Saturday May 11th from 10am-12 noon (every half hour) Let your kids explore their creativity and make a special Mother’s Day Heart Necklace while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:30am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!

Barnes & Noble– This Saturday, May 11th Barnes & Noble will be celebrating Mother’s Day. All ages are welcome and the events vary by store. Search your zip code to find the events near you. It looks like our local stores are offering up Mother’s Day fun. Kenwood will offer story time at 11 am.  Florence location is offering Storytime and meet Clifford the Big Red Dog at 1 PM! Crafts and cookies provided. West Chester is offering a reading of  Mama, Will I Be Yours Forever? by Anna Pignataro. And make a special craft too!

Pottery Barn Kids– Kids ages 4 and up are invited to wear their finest and bring a doll or teddy bearas they enjoy refreshments and make a special felt flowe bouquet for mom or grandma. Space is limited and pre-payment is required. Phone your local store to reserve your spot. Cost is $10 per child.
