Easy Caramel Pie

During the fall season, my family loves just about every dessert that has caramel in the ingredients. We make numerous batches of Homemade Caramel Sauce. We enjoy the caramel for dipping our Apple Pie Fries, they are super yummy! We love it on top of our drinks, like our CopyCat Starbucks Apple Spice Cider. We use it for just about everything!

The pie is so simple. You can use a Homemade Pie Crust or you could also use a store bought pie crust. If you are in a rush and want to make this pie, you can use store bought caramel sauce. I usually make homemade if I have a jar in the fridge.

The addition of the layer of whipped topping and caramel drizzle pushes this pie over the top. So much flavor in such a simple dessert.

I did freeze our pie overnight. You will want to freeze it for at least a couple hours. I then removed our pie from the freezer 30 minutes before serving and it is perfect.

I have been making this pie for years and just realized that I have never served it for a holiday dessert. I think we will be serving it up for a Thanksgiving pie dessert this year so our extended family can give it a try.

I was just thinking about making this tonight to see what I can conjure up (lol not much of a “baker or cook”) ;) I’m going to attempt this and I may have it on my Thanksgiving/Christmas table(s) this year. Will let y’all know how it goes :)

  4. Hey Lady,

I love this pie. Caramel is a big hit at my house. I recently purchased this Smucker’s Salted Carmel to use in a recipe. It was fantastic.

    Thanks for sharing,
