Ingredients to make Cherry Limeade
  • Lemon Lime Soda – You will need 12 ounces of your favorite lemon lemon soda to make this fizzy drink. We like to use Sprite.
  • Cherries – While you are at the grocery store pick up a jar of maraschino cherries from the ice cream topping aisles for this fruity drink.
  • Lime – To get that zesty lime flavor you will need to grab a fresh lime from the produce department.
  • Ice – If your fridge has an ice dispenser you will need to use to crush some ice for this drink. You could also use a food processor or a blender to crush it for you.

Storage / Freezing

This delicious cherry limeade recipe should be made just before serving. It will be best served right away. Storing in the fridge will result in a watery and flat drink, so I recommend making it right as you are ready to serve it. It only takes a one or two to whip it up!

  1. Hi! I actually work at sonic, we use grenadine and lime juice. For a 20 oz glass it’s 1 oz grenadine, and 1/2 oz lime juice. Ice, cherry juice lime juice then sprite is the secret :)
