If you are needing some sides for your upcoming holiday dinner consider making this Candied Sweet Potatoes Recipe. My hubby makes this one up for us every year. Just a simple quick and easy sweet potatoes recipe. We had these ones with our Thanksgiving Dinner. I am thinking they will most likely be on our Christmas Dinner Menu too (if he would decide on the main course, ha ha). Before becoming an adult I always had to have my sweet potatoes pretty plain (that’s what I grew up on). After the hubby and I began making our holiday meals he made the sweet potatoes with marshmallows and pecans. I immediately fell in love with these yummy candied sweet potatoes.
Candied Sweet Potatoes Recipe
I can not believe that Christmas is two weeks away. It seems as if Thanksgiving was just yesterday. I had planned to share this post with you immediately following Thanksgiving. I have been so far behind and noticed I had not posted it yet. Now I am going to have to have the hubby figure out our Christmas Dinner to see if I am going to need supplies for our Candied Potatoes or if he plans to switch up Christmas dinner on me. If you are looking to add Sweet Potatoes to your Christmas menu consider jazzing up canned or fresh sweet potatoes with some spices, marshmallows and some pecans. Yum, I am getting hungry just thinking about them, ha ha!
